Fundación Dibujando un Mañana receives donation from SC Johnson, Graciela Masso and Fundación Cobijo y Sonrisas

Mexico City, June 29, 2021 — Fundación Dibujando un Mañana is pleased to announce that it has received a donation from SC Johnson, Graciela Masso, and Fundación Cobijo y Sonrisas to strengthen nine CSO projects in Mexico City, the State of Mexico, Jalisco, and Querétaro.

The co-investment of $3,000,000.00 MXN from SC Johnson, Graciela Masso, Fundación Cobijo y Sonrisas, and Fundación Dibujando un Mañana is part of the “Innovating Education 2021” Call for Proposals, which aims to invest in gender-focused social projects that promote inclusive and sustainable educational development. These initiatives foster innovation in education and promote STEAM skills—critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and creativity—among girls, adolescents, and young women in vulnerable situations.

This alliance will contribute to the development of skills in nearly one thousand girls, adolescents, and young women in Mexico, supporting projects aligned with educational innovation, STEAM skills, yoga and meditation, and human rights.

Fundación Dibujando un Mañana firmly believes that together we are stronger, and that partnerships like this help close gender inequality gaps by providing girls, adolescents, and young women with the tools to become agents of their own development.

The organizations selected through the “Innovating Education 2021” Call for Proposals are:

A favor del niño I.A.P., Asociación Mexicana para las Naciones Unidas (Educación para Compartir) A.C., Centro Laboral México I.A.P., Fondo para la Paz I.A.P., Fundación arte, educación y talento compartido A.C., Niños unidos de Tetitla, I.A.P., Centro de Integración Tapalpa (CITAC) A.C., Elisabetta Redaelli I.A.P., Niños y Niñas de la Sierra I.A.P.
