Fundación MetLife México donates resources to Fundación Dibujando un Mañana
The donation from Fundación MetLife México amounts to $1,833,561 pesos, which will be allocated to strengthening the services of these healthcare institutions in the State of Mexico.
State of Mexico, May 3, 2022 — Fundación MetLife México delivered a check for $1,833,561 pesos, comprising two donations to Fundación Dibujando un Mañana. The first donation, totaling $1,391,583 pesos, will be used to purchase an ambulance equipped with a defibrillator and medical supplies to serve patients at the General Hospital of Valle de Bravo. The second donation, for $441,977 pesos, will be used to acquire medical supplies for the benefit of patients at the Guadalupe Victoria Maternal and Child Hospital in Atizapán de Zaragoza.
These resources are part of the third round of donations totaling 17.3 million pesos made by Fundación MetLife to help various healthcare institutions across the country respond to the public health emergency caused by SARS-CoV-2.
“Undoubtedly, the COVID-19 health emergency has been a tremendous challenge for the entire world, presenting serious complexities for families, businesses, and societies. This is where private institutions and social organizations must step in to support the work of healthcare professionals who care for these cases every day. Through this donation, we aim to support hospitals in the State of Mexico and reaffirm our commitment to building a safer Mexico,” said Nalleli García, Director of Sustainability and Fundación MetLife México.

We are convinced that generating strategic alliances like ours is key to strengthening society—especially the health and social sectors—in the pursuit of sustainable development for the most vulnerable communities,” stated Katty Beltrán, Executive Director of Fundación Dibujando un Mañana.
Through these actions, Fundación MetLife México has contributed more than 69 million pesos in donations across 23 states in support of various causes that go beyond hospital projects. To help facilitate the return to educational activities, projects were approved to reinforce sanitation infrastructure and access to potable water, ensuring safer and healthier learning environments. Additionally, support was provided for the development of local productive projects to boost the economic recovery of rural communities.
