Since 2016, when “Unidos para Dar” (United to Give) was created; Promotora Social México and Fundación Dibujando un Mañana, have tried to promote Mexico’s future by contributing to the sustainability of the organizations that work with girls, boys and adolescents in less favorable situations. Therefore, this year, being aware the need was more pressing then than ever, they set a goal, namely to give $2,600,000.00 to the winning organizations in order to continue contributing to this cause. Juan Carlos Domenzain, Executive President of Promotora Social México, stated: “Our focus on Health has never been more relevant, a key issue that currently becomes essential, due to the situation we are facing because of the COVID-19 caused pandemic. We are aware that there are vulnerable groups and it is precisely the girls, boys and adolescents the ones that require more attention in all respects. That is why, for the fifth consecutive year we continue to promote this partnership that seeks to support organizations that address health and/or disability issues. I am convinced that if on a timely basis we work together, we will be able to support those who need it most”. Claudia Galán, President of Fundación Dibujando un Mañana, stated: “Today I want to congratulate you, because to be here in this delivery of resources, means that you are doing things well. I know it has not been an easy task. And if it hasn’t been easy for us, it’s less easy for the population we serve. Mexico is one of the countries that devotes the smallest percentage of its GDP to health issues. More than 5 million children do not have access to health services. The challenge we have is very big, but your tireless work and your vocation will be of extraordinary help.
