Through the Heinz Sabor que Inspira Initiative, Fundación Dibujando un Mañana and Kraft Heinz join forces to support children in Guadalajara, Jalisco

Fundación Dibujando un Mañana and Kraft Heinz, through the “Heinz Sabor que Inspira” initiative, will help improve the nutritional status of vulnerable children.

This collaboration aims to benefit children in the state of Jalisco through ongoing support, providing tools and creating better life opportunities.

Guadalajara, Jalisco, December 2023 — Fundación Dibujando un Mañana, with over twenty-five years of experience in building networks and partnerships to promote social development in Mexico and Central America, joins forces with Kraft Heinz through the “Heinz Sabor que Inspira” initiative, which will invest in a food assistance and education project.

According to Mexico’s National Health and Nutrition Survey (ENSANUT), 2.8% of children under five years old are underweight, 13.6% have stunted growth, and 1.6% suffer from acute malnutrition. Additionally, Mexico ranks first globally in childhood obesity. In response, Kraft Heinz will donate $600,000 MXN to help address these issues in Jalisco, reaffirming its commitment to restoring the rights of more children by creating better conditions for well-being and healthy development.

For Kraft Heinz, one of the world’s largest food manufacturers, the initiative with Fundación Dibujando un Mañana is part of a broader impact agenda across the countries where the company operates. It is aligned with a unified growth plan already active in Latin America, called ‘Feeding a Future with More Flavor.’ Fighting hunger and providing targeted nutritional support for children are top priorities of these initiatives.
