Donation of medical equipment to the General Hospital of the State of Sonora.

In response to the global emergency caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Fundación MAPFRE México, in partnership with Fundación Dibujando un Mañana, has donated medical equipment to support the care of COVID-19 patients at the General Hospital of the State of Sonora “Dr. Ernesto Ramos Bours.”

This healthcare institution, located in Hermosillo, Sonora, has been designated to treat patients presenting symptoms related to COVID-19. Through this donation, civil society organizations stand in solidarity and respond with decisive actions for the benefit of the population.

The donation from Fundación MAPFRE México includes the acquisition of 3 defibrillators, 3 emergency stretchers, and 2 crash carts, intended to serve approximately 18,000 people over the next five years.

Fundación Dibujando un Mañana, with more than 20 years of experience in building multi-stakeholder networks and advising high-impact social investments across Mexico, will oversee the efficient use of these supplies in coordination with the hospital’s leadership teams.
